Navigator 'Annie' at Mallacoota Victoria

A lovely picnic spot on the far shore of the 'bottom lake' at Mallacoota and  a jetty within a small inlet at 'The Narrows". Those clouds emptied themselves on us on the return journey...

  1. My father used to fish in Bottom lake when I was young. Well, legend has it that a century a go, you couldn't row a boat there without striking a fish with an oar, Robert, but nowadays fishing in Bottom lake still has a bit of magic.

  2. I believe it Mark- there still seem to be plenty of both fish and fishermen, but the place must have been particularly magic when there were fewer people moving at speed in our noisy modern fashion. One day I'll go fishing again!
    Thanks for contributing Mark.
